On February 19th, which happens to be the former Prince Andrew’s birthday, he was arrested for misconduct in public office.
There Is Speculation that When William Becomes King, He Will Distance Himself from the York Family Entirely
He’s the first member of the royal family to be arrested in modern times. The last member of the British royal family to be arrested was King Charles I in 1647. He was charged with tyranny and treason and was executed in 1649.
The exiled former royal, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, spent most of his 66th birthday in custody. He was released under investigation as the media released a very unflattering photo of him leaning back in the police car.
His arrest was related to accusations that he shared some sensitive information with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, while he was serving as a trade envoy for the British government.
Additionally, the British government is seriously considering removing Andrew from the line of succession to the throne, which is a no-brainer and truthfully should have been done by now. The Epstein scandal has been a massive mess for the monarchy, to put it mildly.
Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and his two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, were nowhere to be found. Ferguson hasn’t been spotted in public since September 2025.
Sources close to the royal family expressed concerns for Fergie’s mental health and revealed that
“the police investigation is catastrophic for her and her girls.”
There has been much speculation that when Prince William becomes King, he will distance himself entirely from the York family. Right now, King Charles is protecting Beatrice and Eugenie.
Sarah Is Flat Broke and May Be Forced to Tell Her Story to the Police
Eugenie and Beatrice are said to be “in a state” over the incident. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Mail,
“It may fall to Prince William to decide on the future of Beatrice and Eugenie. Neither are reportedly particularly close to him or Catherine.”
“There’s a strong possibility that Andrew could be put on trial. It may be impossible for the royal family to move forward with any members of the York family attached to it. William and Catherine do not appear to have close ties with the sisters and probably would not miss them.”
Emails from Epstein have also revealed that Sarah Ferguson was
“repeatedly chasing after him for money to pay off her debts.”
Epstein secretly bankrolled Ferguson for 15 years. She also took Beatrice and Eugenie to lunch with Epstein five days after he completed his prison sentence.
Now, Sarah faces a grim future. Her plans for a tell-all memoir have been axed. She is flat broke and may be required to tell her story to the police.
As of this February, Ferguson’s businesses and charitable ventures have “dried up” or are being wound down following the release of new documents detailing her ties with Epstein.
Ferguson stayed in close contact with the pedophile even after he was released from prison for sex offenses against underage girls.
Interestingly, the palace was given no prior warning of his brother’s arrest. It was also revealed that King Charles offered his
“wholehearted support and cooperation”
after his younger brother, Andrew, was arrested.
Royal fans and experts everywhere have all uttered the same phrase:
“Thank goodness the late Queen is not here to see this.”
