”Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) could be in big trouble. Her plot to help Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) dig up dirt on Titan may have hit a snag.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Gabi Shared Game-Changing Intel With Tony
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Phillip Kiriakis (John Pal Lavoisier) just discovered the surveillance bug that Gabi planted in Xander’s pen on his office desk.
While Gabi listened to the Kiriakis brothers’ conversation, Xander mentioned Phillip’s letter forgery. This means that his claim on Titan is null and void. Gabi was ecstatic to score such valuable, game-changing intel.
Phillip forged a document, supposedly from Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston), stating that Victor wanted Phillip to have his inheritance.
Xander and Phillip went to court to settle the dispute, and the judge ruled that they would share Titan in a 50/50 split. The pair weren’t exactly thrilled at the prospect of working together.
However, Xander knows about the forgery and agreed to keep it a secret to protect Kiriakis’s stake in the family company. That way, they could retain control over the merged company.
Of course, Gabi went straight to Tony with the goods on Titan. Now, Tony and Gabi have powerful knowledge that could threaten to undo the Titan-DiMera merger.
However, if Xander signs the co-CEO papers, it may make Gabi’s attempt to steal the top spot futile.
When Xander and Phillip found the bug, we basically expected Xander to flip out on Phillip and accuse him of spying on him.
Spoilers hint that the brothers end up bonding. Perhaps this means that the two of them compare notes on their interactions with Gabi.
Xander and Phillip may realize that Gabi has been playing them. It may not take long for them to conclude that Gabi betrayed their trust, is a mole, and is potentially spying for someone, preferably an enemy.
Despite Xander’s kindness and understanding toward Gabi, and her and Phillip hitting the sheets, Gabi is working for someone on the outside.
They will also likely figure out that she’s the one who was investigating the Titan-DiMera merger. Gabi’s been batting her long, pretty eyelashes at both Xander and Phillip, and manipulating them.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Is Gabi Trusting The Wrong DiMera?
If Phillip opens up to Xander enough and tells him about his romp in bed with Gabi, it should be easy for them to deduce that Gabi is a spy.
Tony had promised Gabi the CEO position at DiMera once he reclaimed the company. However, their last exchange left us wondering whether Gabi made a mistake trusting Tony.
Plus, there is a lot of buzz that Tony is really Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis). If that’s true, Gabi can kiss the deal she made with “Tony” goodbye.
While Gabi has the smoking gun that may kill Xander and Phillip’s roles at Titan-DiMera, it won’t help her if she’s dealing with a sociopath like Andre. He’s not exactly known for his honorable traits.
Gabi could be forced to face the wrath of the Kiriakis brothers for nothing, especially if Xander signs the papers to legitimize Phillip’s role in the company.
It would also be over between her and Phillip, which we wouldn’t mind since we felt they were awkward together and sorely lacking in the chemistry department.
Gabi hasn’t had a viable love interest since Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) left Salem, and Phillip isn’t a good match for her.
That said, Tony is looking for an ultimate victory. He won’t hesitate to go to war with the Kiriakis family. We have a feeling that Tony may really be Andre, and Gabi will simply be collateral damage.
Plus, we feel that Xander and Phillip may finally realize what we’ve known all along: they are stronger together than apart.
