British Royal News suggests that it might be a very, very long time before Meghan Markle and her father Thomas Markle ever speak to each other, let alone be in the same room with another. That’s because the Duchess of Sussex’s father decided to sit down for a tell-all documentary with a British network channel. In his interview, Thomas Markle says that it’s time for Meghan Markle to give what she owes him, seeing how he’s a senior now in looking for care. What kind of care, however, he didn’t specify. The last time that Meghan Markle and her father Thomas spoke on the phone was before her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in May of 2018. While no one knows the exact details of the phone conversation, Thomas ended up not flying to London for the wedding, citing health issues. Since that moment, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly cut all communication from Thomas. As a result, he was been airing out his grievances to the media or anyone willing to talk to him.

With that said, Thomas did admit that he has his regrets. One of the reasons why Harry and Meghan were upset with the former Hollywood lighting director was because he willingly posed with a paparazzi cameraman for a staged photo op. The photos made the British tabloids the next day, prompting Prince Harry to call his future father-in-law to express his regrets over the decision Thomas made. And while the Markle family have been very vocal in their criticism of Meghan Markle and the rest of the royal family, she is yet to make any comments about the drama. But then again her silence might be speaking louder than words.
