EastEnders Spoilers indicate that Dot Cotton (June Brown) has been on EastEnders for nearly 35 years, but fans are beginning to fear that she may soon be killed off in a twist that would rock Walford to its core. But, are fans getting ahead of themselves, or are there clues that could actually be pointing to damning evidence that the unthinkable could happen?
Fans were watching in shock last night as she finally uncovered that Martin Fowler (James Bye) had stolen her life savings. He immediately kicked him out of the house, before hearing about the part played by Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).
EastEnders Spoilers: Dot Saddened By Betrayal
Dot is still unaware that it was actually Sonia who was behind the money being missing from her account, as she immediately decided that she was leaving the area to get away from the drama. It isn’t known how long she will be gone for, with Dot just claiming that she was going to stay in Ireland for a while so she can spend time with her grandson.
However, Dot wouldn’t leave without saying goodbye as she left an emotional recording for Sonia to listen to when she got home. In the recording, Dot explained why she needed to leave the square for a while, and also admitted that she knew who had actually taken the money that had been stolen.

Sonia ended the episode overcome with emotion as the fact dawned on her that Dot had left Walford and that she didn’t get the blame for the money going missing. However, Sonia was tasked with looking after the mess, as Dot claimed that she could tidy it up.
However, immediately after the episode had finished, fans flocked onto social media in a frenzy as they grew scared that this could be the end of Dot on the soap.
