‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Week Of May 26th to 30th
The week starts with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) reviving John Black (formerly played by the late Drake Hogestyn). While loved ones arrive to say goodbye, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) pray for a miracle.
Carrie Brady (Christie Clark), Will Horton (Chandler Massey), and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughn) return as everyone gathers to sit vigil by John’s bedside. In a heartbreaking scene, Marlena gets into the hospital bed with John and begs him to live.
It’s an emotional week for John’s family, friends, and fans. In the end, John will inevitably pass away, leaving Marlena, Steve, and his grown children devastated.
Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) has been awfully cocky over the beating he gave Phillip Kiriakis (John Paul Lavoisier), and it’s about to come back to bite him. Xander is arrested at the hospital. The question is, when Phillip wakes up, will he try to protect Xander?
A decision is made as to who will own the University Hospital. Will EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) get to prove he’s a “changed man” as he takes control of the medical institution the town holds so dear? Will Xander’s recent arrest affect the outcome?
Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are eager to move forward with the adoption process. Since Sophia has now turned 18, she doesn’t require permission from her uptight mother, Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson).
Sophia also makes an interesting choice for her legal counsel as she enlists Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) help to proceed with her and Tate’s plans.
Since the adoption with Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) fell through, the teens decided to use an adoption agency.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Week Of June 2nd To 6th
Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) confides in Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) that she saw Johnny come into the mansion. He was pointing a gun at her uncle, EJ. Afterward, Kristen has a few choice words for her brother since he never bothered to mention this to the police.
Viewers recall that Kristen was interrogated for the shooting as she was a suspect. We have to wonder if little Rachel herself pulled the trigger, as she seemed traumatized by the events of that evening, which we witnessed at her birthday party. Is Kristen covering for her daughter?
Several clues will be revealed as the soap lays the groundwork for uncovering the mystery shooter. EJ’s memory may hold the key, as he knows something he isn’t saying.
The thugs shaking down Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) for cash start to stalk Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). They know she comes from money, as she lives at the Kiriakis mansion.
Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander struggle with their gut-wrenching rift as Sarah vows to protect little Victoria Kiriakis (The Kerr twins) from Xander.
As one tragedy occurs, one miracle follows as Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) awakens from his coma thanks to John’s heroic efforts as he had protected the Versavix with his body when the explosion took place in the meth lab.
Of course, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) are right by his side.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) may offer Marlena significant support after John’s passing, as she’s still trying to cope with losing Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) herself. All of Salem will unite in their grief and gratitude for the unforgettable, forever valiant John Black.
