‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) has made it clear to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that she’s uncomfortable with him “getting close” to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Intends To Find Out More About Audra’s Company
Kyle intends to find out more about Audra’s new company, Vibrante, and the innovative new product she’s about to “unleash” on the corporate universe that will take the cosmetics industry by storm.
In the May 23rd episode of Y&R, Audra asked Kyle out for a drink at the GCAC jazz club as she “had an idea she wanted to run by him.” The Y&R preview for the week of May 26th to 30th shows Kyle’s disbelief of Audra’s supposed mutually beneficial offer.
The two of them may clash a bit. However, we all know Audra is playing Kyle. What Kyle doesn’t understand is that he’s no match for the cunning, clever Audra Charles.
Audra likely won’t need to play dirty or resort to lascivious tactics to defeat Kyle. He thinks he’s just as smart as Audra, but he’ll soon come to realize that he doesn’t even come close.
Audra’s one and only mission she must accomplish is to find a way to break up Kyle and Claire. If she succeeds, she’ll earn herself a shiny new cosmetics company courtesy of Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
While Kyle knows Claire is against his involvement with Audra, he recently had a conversation with his mom, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and admitted that while he wanted to be a better man for Claire, he felt this was just business. It was his responsibility to uncover what Victor was planning against Jabot.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Audra May Beat Kyle At His Own Game
Little does Kyle know that Victor is really plotting against him. Audra is ten steps ahead of Kyle and may plant the seed in his mind to steal her product.
Remember, Kyle betrayed his own family to bring Victor the formula for a new, innovative face cream Jabot had developed. Kyle stole the formula that was on Diane’s computer and eagerly laid it at Victor’s feet like he was his lapdog.
Kyle could have faced some serious legal consequences for theft. However, his parents decided to protect him instead.
Audra may beat Kyle at his own game. After all, Kyle stabbed Audra in the back when Victor hired her to work for Glissade, and promised she’d be CEO of the company. He ousted her the minute Kyle brought him this “gift.”
Audra hasn’t forgotten Kyle’s betrayal, which she should keep in mind as she moves forward with her plan. Audra would lay the groundwork for Kyle to steal her product and then have him arrested when she catches him stealing.
Kyle thinks he’s a hotshot, but he’s only gotten as far as he has in business because of his last name. He would fall into Audra’s trap hook, line, and sinker.
Once Kyle is arrested, Claire would likely be highly disappointed that he didn’t listen to her about going after Audra. Claire may even decide it would be best for her and Kyle to part ways.
