‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies to share.

It’s not the best time for discord with Aristotle Dumas looming, but it’s self inflicted.

Dumas’ reputation will make everyone paranoid.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will share her idea to have Damian King (Jermaine Rivers) be a double agent as part of her job offer.

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be against this immediately, and Devon Winters (Bryton James) will be right behind him.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will buck Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) by promising Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) he won’t attack Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

This will play into Victor’s attempts to get Billy to work with him by threatening to bury his new company under bad press if he doesn’t.

Victor’s goading him, and Billy will take the bait and call Dumas.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Creating a divide

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised everyone’s paranoid and scared of Dumas.

The show’s trying to build him up to be Victor’s equal like they did with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Unfortunately, after they arrive they’re nerfed and a shadow of their promised glory.

Still, Lily isn’t taking any chances and wants to keep things transparent with her family.

Nate and Devon won’t like her plan, but she’ll tout it as bringing Damian in to work with his family.

It’ll be interesting to see how this works out and whether the Winters will remain united afterwards. Especially if Damian is Dumas and he’s playing them all.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, May 8: Victor’s panicking?

It’s easy to think Victor is getting ready to panic, but we think he’s trying to goad Billy into making a mistake.

Saying he’d hold back an avalanche of negative press if Billy behaves is a threat, and Billy will call Dumas.

We think this is Victor’s way to have Dumas rush to come to Genoa City and show his hand.

If he’s on Victor’s level, we doubt he’ll bite, but he may also want to show Victor he’s not a threat.

Will Lily’s idea come back to bite her and her family? Let us know in the comments below.
