CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is more than pleased with himself for breaking up his father Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) marriage. But with that said, actor Matthew Atkinson is defending his character and says that he’s not the bad guy that everyone is making him out to be. Here’s what he has to say.
If there’s one thing that we have learned about Thomas, it’s that he’s a very manipulative person. What’s more, he also tends to be incredibly immature while playing with people’s minds, hearts, and emotions. That’s because, at the end of the day, he wants what he can’t get. But with that said, he’s also somewhat aware of what he is doing.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas More Than Pleased With Himself For Breaking Up Bridge
When asked if Thomas feels bad about deceiving Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) while trying to get with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), Matthew said, “In his heart, I believe Thomas is a good guy. I genuinely believed that, but multiple times it has been apparent that he has allowed himself to compartmentalize his conscience in the pursuit of getting his son a mother. I think he’s tricking himself into thinking that Zoe is not getting deep feelings for him, which is not a great thing to do, but this is Thomas Forrester and once he focuses on one thing, that’s it.”
But when it comes to separating Ridge and Brooke, Thomas is more than pleased with himself. The actor continued, “That makes him ecstatic. The last thing he wants to hear is Brooke saying one more word about how she can’t stand Thomas or thinks Thomas needs to be put in a mental institution. Brooke came in and ruined his family and since then he has had this animosity toward her, whether he likes it or not.”
