After a year of hype and anticipation, Meghan Markle’s As Ever products are now available for purchase, and critics have tested all eight sold-out items. Meanwhile, it’s been speculated that Meghan’s range was purposefully limited.

Meghan Markle’s Beverage Offerings Aren’t Exactly The Reviewers’ Cup Of Tea

The FEMAIL section of the Daily Mail reviewers tried each one of them. One critic commented, “Well, at least one thing is authentic about As Ever: Just like its founder, these foodstuffs and tea bags overpromise and underdeliver.”

The Herbal Hibiscus Tea is said to be the worst As Ever product in the lineup. On the back of the jar, Meghan shared that she recommends allowing the tea to steep in a mason jar outside in the sun, and when making the tea, bring the water to a boil.

After pouring the tea into a mug, let it steep allow the tea bag to steep for seven minutes. The reviewer said the tea was extremely bitter, the floral taste was too much, and it was “like drinking lip balm.”

Another critic claimed the tea “tasted like dirty dishwater” as the tea was undrinkable. Some couldn’t even bear the thought of bringing it to their lips.

The Herbal Peppermint tea delivered a strong whiff of peppermint when going to take a sip. However, the actual tea was bland, flavorless, and weak. One critic said it was like drinking plain hot water. When you want to drink peppermint tea, you want the mint to stand out.

The Herbal Lemon Ginger Tea was also weak but had the best taste out of the three tea options. The ginger flavor overpowered the lemon but wasn’t overly impressive. All of Meghan’s teas cost $12.

The Duchess’ Raspberry Jam Is “Thin, Messy, And Runny”

Anyone who has seen Meghan’s Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan,” knows that her flower sprinkles are precious to her.

Throughout the docuseries, she sprinkles these edible flowers onto everything imaginable. From frosted doughnuts to finger sandwiches, the flower sprinkles may be her most featured product on the show, next to the jam. The flower sprinkles cost $15.

It’s a rip-off for the customer as there are other brands of flower sprinkles that sell for under $10. The colors of the flowers are red, yellow, orange, and blue.

Meghan Markle's As Ever Rasphberry Spread on the conveyer belt

Meghan’s famous raspberry jam was called “sickly sweet“ and so runny that the consistency was like dessert sauce. It’s purportedly “thin, messy, and runny.” It’s not exactly what you want to spread on toast at breakfast.

The raspberry jam sells for a whopping $14 for a measly 7.6 ounces. The cheaper jams that cost $9 were interestingly unavailable for purchase.

Meghan Calls Her Shortbread Cookie Mix “A Hug In A Box”

According to one reviewer, Maureen Callahan said that Meghan’s crepe mix tasted like “undercooked pancakes.”

Some reviewers found her crepe mix too difficult to make. The results were sorely lacking in taste. The descriptions, “nothing special” and “bland” aren’t exactly favorable. The cookie mix costs $14.

On the box of cookie mix, she wrote, “Let’s call this a hug in a box.” She mentions how she “fell in love with the ritual of tea and biscuits” during her time in Britain.

    Meghan Markle's As Ever Ad

The cookie mix received the best review out of all the items available, with one critic being particularly generous, calling the result “the perfect shortbread cookie.”

However, one person said the cookie mix was incredibly laborious to make. Perhaps if you have kids, it might be a fun rainy day activity to make the cookies, but other than that, it’s probably not worth the trouble.

Meghan Markle’s As Ever Range “Overpromise And Underdeliver”

Unlike so many of Meghan’s fans, the Daily Mail reviews group was able to buy her Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb limited edition. Some thought it was rich and tasty, while others called it “waxy.”

    Meghan ran out of honey

For $28, the honey should be decadent and dripping with flavor. One reviewer said you are “better off purchasing honey from the local farmer’s market.”

Some critics complained they never received their honey order due to accidental overselling. However, Callahan said Meghan’s apology note for not delivering the highly sought-after honey was filled with grammatical and copy mistakes.

Overall, Meghan Markle’s As Ever items aren’t worth the expense. She’s not offering anything new or exciting.

Meanwhile, Meghan firmly stands by her belief that her products are “accessible” and “affordable.” FEMAIL concurred that they would likely never buy these products again.
