90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Brandan and Mary DeNuccio were just exposed for possibly scamming their fans once again. Brandon and Mary were a long-distance couple known for their toxicity. Mary from the Philipines in particular would be incredibly clingy and jealous of Brandon. She would force him to remain on FaceTime at all times and break down whenever he breathed near another woman. Despite their families’ concerns, Brandon would move to the Philippines, and the couple married anyway.
The pair welcomed a child and began living their lives as a family. While the family seemed to be living happily together, there was some shadiness beneath the surface. Mary would launch a donation campaign by telling fans that she suspects having cancer. She would spread fear by stating that she was afraid for her life and needed the donated funds for treatment. However, this would eventually be proven false, stealing all trust and money from fans who donated. Now, the couple has tried asking for funds again due to Mary’s grandmother’s sickness. While this looked to be more genuine at first, fans have discovered shocking evidence to debunk this too.
Mary’s Grandmother is Allegedly NOT at a Private Hospital
Reddit user u/Altruistic-Depth492 posted his findings when researching the hospital where Mary’s grandmother was staying. In the original post about the GoFundMe page the couple launched, Mary explained that the funds were needed for her grandmother’s operations. This was because the hospital they were staying at was private, meaning that without insurance, all operation costs would be paid out-of-pocket. “So, I did some research to confirm they were not at a private hospital and are in fact at Holy Mother of Mercy Hospital in Kabankalan. PhilHealth covers 100% of Lola’s medical expenses,” states the Reddit user.
The user proceeds to post screenshots of the location of the hospital and where they are funded. According to the Philhealth page, the hospital is funded by their government organization. This means that even if Mary needed to pay for the operations, it would not be nearly as much as emphasized.
What Does This Mean For Brandon & Mary’s Donations?
According to the Reddit user, Brandon and Mary no longer have their GoFundMe or KoFi campaigns available. “The KoFi accounts got taken down, but then they posted Brandon’s PayPal account.” It’s unknown as to why these accounts were taken down, but the couple is still asking for money regardless. It’s also worth mentioning that they post almost daily on their Facebook page. There, all posts related to Mary’s grandmother have comments limited likely to reduce any potential hate comments.
It wouldn’t be surprising if Mary and Brandan’s campaigning turned out to be a scam after all. If so, it is an incredibly disgusting move to do so while Mary’s grandmother is ill. Thankfully, recent posts have shown the grandmother recovering fairly (and almost suspiciously) quickly. It brings into question as to how long the couple will keep asking for donations. When will these operation payments even be made?
