Despite the Las Vegas invitation with Sophie Sierra, Josh Weinstein managed to have Natalie Mordovtseva quickly take him back with loving arms in The Last Resort’s latest episode. Natalie had met and began dating Josh after breaking up with her husband, Mike Youngquist.
However, Josh never really saw Natalie as his girlfriend even though she sought marriage with him. After breaking up and getting together for over three years, the couple seek therapy on The Last Resort.
Josh and Natalie have only started more conflicts with the cast of the show’s season 2. Sophie, Rob Warne’s wife, revealed that Josh had flirtatiously messaged her on Instagram.
This included a suggestive invite to Las Vegas and not committing to Natalie. When Natalie learned of this, she blamed Sophie for the messages. This would change, however, after Natalie saw the messages herself and realized that Josh was to blame.
90 Day Fiancé: What Happened During Natalie’s Confrontation With Josh?
When Natalie reads about the messages between Josh and Sophie, she is prepared to confront him. But Josh returns to the resort in an attempt to mend the relationship. That’s when Natalie attempts to call out Josh by reading out his messages to Sophie. However, the confrontation takes a drastic 180.
As Natalie tries to explain why she’s upset, Josh doesn’t take her seriously at all. Josh tries to convince Natalie that the messages were misinterpreted. He even goes as far as to say that the Las Vegas invite was not directed at Sophie at all which is something we predicted.
“I’m ready to move on” Josh states. It’s only after Natalie isn’t convinced by Josh that he suddenly accuses her of “talking about the past.”
There are then the kisses that Josh forces on Natalie. When Natalie attempts to place boundaries down on Josh, he kisses her to try and break them down immediately. “You use your energy not to make, making friends, but fixing the relationship with me.”
As Natalie states this, Josh holds onto her and forcefully pushes himself into kissing her. The kiss is so forceful that it actively pushes her backward. It’s as if Josh is literally telling Natalie to “shut up” silently.
90 Day Fiancé: Natalie’s Mood Completely Changes
After the confrontation and disturbing kisses, Natalie just lights up for the rest of the episode. She becomes incredibly hyper and touchy with Josh. This includes wrapping her arms around him, resting her head on his shoulder, and more. It’s as though she’s going through a honeymoon phase all over again.
Natalie also goes back to bullying Sophie despite her being the one to help call out Josh. During the group therapy at the end of episode 6, Natalie calls Sophie lazy and giggles loudly at her. What makes this scene more interesting, however, is Josh’s commentary on Sophie.
“She does have this cute little voice, so it kind of gives her this innocence and so she tries to get away with that.” Josh even claims that Sophie has hidden ulterior motives. Natalie immediately agrees, but it’s clear what Josh is doing here.
Josh is trying his best to make Sophie look bad and keep Natalie hooked on him. Sophie is the one cast member who has dirt on him, so he works to make her look untrustworthy to discredit her.
This will further keep Natalie from going against him again like she attempted during the confrontation. Natalie has always been desperate for marriage, so it isn’t too surprising that she folded so quickly under Josh’s kisses. However, the whole situation is just incredibly frustrating and honestly sad on her part.
