EastEnders Spoilers finds that fans were treated to a rare double episode on Friday night, and there was dramatic scenes involving Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton). She has been having problems recently surrounding her ex, but it was another ex that leapt to her defence in last night’s episode, as he offered his help to deal with her eating disorder.
Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) has vowed to help Honey battle through her disorder, as she continues to spiral, which undoubtedly frightens everybody around her. But, will she be happy to take his help after it is revealed that he has got back together with Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley)
EastEnders Spoilers: Honey’s Troubles
The problems surrounding Honey’s eating disorder is nothing new for her, as she has struggled with the illness since she was a teenager. However, recent bad news that has fallen on her shoulders has seen her relapse. Viewers could tell that this was coming after she decided to split up with her cheating ex Adam.
She did enjoy a rare glimmer of hope last night when Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) asked her out on a date. However, she was knocked back during that date when he questioned why she had only ordered a salad. Things got worse for Honey when she overheard her date speaking negatively about her, while he was blissfully unaware that she could hear what he was saying.
EastEnders Spoilers: Day From Hell For Honey
It was a terrible day for Honey, so she decided that she was going to binge out on food. However, she was soon interrupted by Janet, Lola and Billy. The two female characters paid no attention to the food, but Billy noticed and was instantly worried.
Later in the episode, viewers could see Honey sneaking away from an event so she could be sick in the toilets. She was followed by Janet and Billy. Billy stated that she was unable to look after herself and revealed his worries for their children. On the evening she attempted to prove Billy wrong by cooking the family dinner. She lied to her ex stating that she had food poisoning from the date.
That wasn’t enough to put Billy off, and after hearing that Honey had only had a salad on the date, he began to look into eating disorders.
