‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers here and we’re ready to close out the week in style.
There’s some interesting storylines to unpack as we head into the weekend. With the help of some spoilery goodies for Friday, June 28 we’re all set.
It looks like Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have an issue with her meds.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will pull her out of her daydreams when she mentally drifts off, and that’s going to make things interesting.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be looking to make a name for himself as he’ll complain about his mom.
While he suffers a spoiled brat persecution complex, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will try to figure out what they can do.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, June 28: Sharon’s meds are off
Things are going to take an odd turn as the show will continue to look for ways to bring up mental health.
This is something many fans have grown tired of, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised.
The show like to stretch things out to near unbearable limits, but it’s also important topics we need to be aware of to avoid stigma and get help.
It’s an interesting line, but the fact one after the other keep falling prey to some illness is what is aggravating at times.
Now it’s Sharon’s turn as Mariah will pay her a visit. She’ll notice Sharon keeps staring off into space, and she’ll play it off as having to do with too much work.
Eventually, it looks like Sharon will be worried enough to call her doctor about her medication.
Looks like her dosage needs to be adjusted or she needs to make a lifestyle change.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For Friday, June 28: Not interested in mending fences
Kyle will continue his “poor me” tour, while at Jabot Jack and Diane will discuss how to make things work.
Diane will once again offer to step down and Jack won’t have it. He’ll point out she wasn’t a mercy hire.
Even Kyle agreed she should’ve been promoted, though that appears he was trying to be nice.
They’ll be looking for a way to put the pieces back together. Having Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) still getting treatment leaves Jabot empty of Abbotts and it’ll bother Jack.
For his part, we think Kyle will look forward to taking on and destroying Jabot. Chances are he suspects Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is using him, but he doesn’t care because he’ll show his parent.
