‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that the redemption of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) depends on her and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) busting Ava Jerome (Maura West).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina Made Mistakes That Cost Her
Nina is a character who’s made many mistakes that cost her Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), who was her husband, and her daughter, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
She turned Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC, and karma came back to bite her in the you know what.
But some fans can’t help but root for Nina to redeem herself. She’s already started to do that by going to Carly about Ava and voicing her concerns.
Carly said it best. The two women don’t agree much but are united against Ava. Sonny has been acting differently since his medicine has been tampered with, and while Carly and Nina don’t know that yet, Ava knows, and she’s keeping it to herself.
Nina finally signed the divorce papers and decided to let Sonny go. However, that doesn’t mean that Nina’s going to allow Ava’s toxicity to harm Sonny’s already shattered mental health.
While Nina doesn’t always make the best choices, she’s not inherently evil. She helped Sonny before when he was struggling, and she helped him to stop drinking, knowing how it affected his medicine.
Now that Nina has brought her suspicions to Carly, they must work together to save him from Ava’s clutches.
But what is Ava’s endgame? Everyone wonders why Ava enables Sonny and what she’s getting out of it, especially Nina.
Many fans love Ava resorting to her bad girl roots, which ironically makes Ava so devilishly charming.
However, withholding the truth about Sonny’s medicine goes too far. Sonny is rapidly spiraling out of control, and it’s becoming increasingly apparent that something is very ‘off’ with the mafia boss.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina And Carly Expose Ava
While Ava is busy working on her agenda to control, Sonny, Carly, and Nina could do a little investigating. Carly knows all the signs that Sonny isn’t taking his medicine, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) also suspects something isn’t right with Sonny. He could mention this to Carly.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is already suspicious of Ava, as she shared with Nina. With this information, Carly and Nina could figure it out.
Carly never forgave or forgot that Ava was indirectly responsible for Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) death. She switched his medicine with placebos.
Even though Ava isn’t the reason for the med switch this time, the light bulb could go off in Nina’s mind, and she will see that Ava may be sabotaging Sonny’s mental health. The truth will come out.
If Nina and Carly put aside their differences to expose Ava, perhaps Carly can eventually forgive Nina for ratting her out. Not forget, but forgive.
And maybe Sonny and Nina could come to a new understanding with that. Sonny does not forgive easily, but he would be grateful if Nina exposed Ava and gave him a heads-up about his meds.
Sonny and Nina may never be husband and wife again, but it may be worth it when Sonny sees the truth, and Nina comes out on top.
