Former 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Ashley Martson made quite a name for herself when she was on the show. She appeared on Season 6 with her ex-husband, Jay Smith.
She and Jay shared their love story and the two of them made headlines quite often. Their relationship wasn’t exactly stable and during the pandemic, it got a little sticky.
Ashely and Jay made up once again after breaking up, but shortly after they got back together, it was clear that they wouldn’t work. They broke up one last time in September of 2020.
Now Ashley is happily engaged and is ready to share more about her fiance and the great times they have had in the 18 months that they have been dating. Let’s find out more.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: The Romantic Announcement
Just this past week, Ashley took to social media to share the good news with her fans. She shared a picture of her new ring and some pictures of the two of them. She captioned these photos, “I said YES.
Here’s to love and laughter and happily ever after! Our Jamaican vacation turned us from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiances! I love you so much and can’t wait to marry you, Joseph.”
Ashley also thanked those who helped make the photos happen and everyone who has shown their support throughout. Of course, Ashley got a lot of love for her good news and most of her fans showed their support.
There were a few that asked her why she didn’t tag her fiance, but it turns out that he isn’t on social media and she is very happy about that. She feels as if she doesn’t need to broadcast everything on social media like a lot of former 90 Day Fiancé cast members.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Ashley’s 90 Day Love Story
When Ashley and Jay were on 90 Day Fiancé together, they shared that they met at a nightclub in Jamaica. They started dating long distance and that is when they became closer. After only six months of dating, Jay proposed to her.
After eight months of marriage, she found out that he cheated on her and filed for divorce. Even though she felt as if she would never be able to trust him again, she continued to try and make things work. With all of the work that they put in, the marriage just couldn’t work. The couple’s divorce was finalized in March of 2021.
Ashley’s fans are happy about her new engagement and hope that she and her fiance can find happiness together.
