Harry and Meghan have revealed their brand-new website, Sussex.com, and are being slammed for their egocentric bios.
Harry and Meghan’s Self-Promoting Bios Are Pretentious
If you visit SussexRoyal.com, you will be sent directly to Sussex.com. The new site features bios that more than state their achievements; they trumpet them with zero modesty or humility and instead border on the pretentious.
The best was when he reminded everyone that his tell-all memoir, “Spare,” is
“the publishing industry’s fastest-selling non-fiction book, selling more than 1.4 million copies on its first day of publication.”
He should have added that it’s the fastest-selling non-fiction book that is the most self-pitying.
He also mentions that the memoir of his life is told with compassion, vulnerability, and unflinching honesty.” The Duke of Sussex’s presentation of himself is just what you’d expect him to say, reminding everyone that his work is miraculous.
In his wife Meghan’s bio, she talks about her commitment to feminism and gender equality.
“Her advocacy work on resilience, equality, and compassion through action has been recognized, alongside that of her husband, Prince Harry, with the NAACP President’s Award and the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award.”
Again, she is reminding everyone that her work is exemplary.
Meghan’s bio is longer and even more nauseating than Harry’s. Again. Shameless self-promotion, “She has written for several publications and created the lifestyle website, “The Tig.” The Duchess of Sussex guest edited British Vogue in July 2019,” it reads. Then, it reminds everyone that it was
“The fastest-selling copy in the magazine’s history.”
The Sussexes Trumpet Their Achievements And Capitalize On the Royal Family
Their bios also call their children “Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,” again capitalizing on the royal family. The same family is now slimmed down and in dire need of help when they are livin’ large in California. The site is adorned with a royal crest.
Both bios also boast their literary accomplishments as if they are the most influential writers since J.D. Salinger.
“She is a New York Times Best Selling author, publishing the acclaimed children’s book, ‘The Bench’ and ‘Together: Our Community Kitchen in the UK, who were displaced after the tragic Grenfell Fire. The book debuted at number one on the UK’s Sunday Times Booklist, with proceeds going to The Hubb Kitchen.”
The Archewelll Foundation’s site has received a makeover, possibly in an attempt to forge another deal that will give them millions for doing “no one knows what.”
It’s a wonder they are not already in trouble for having their website feature the work they performed before moving to the US.
Harry and Meghan do say that the site was established in 2020. They use the same image designed for their 2023 Christmas card, with them looking cheerfully bouncy and blissed out on life at the Invictus Games.
The site looks so clean and professionally polished that it’s painful. The implantation of the royal crest clearly indicates that they use the royal family to their advantage, to sell themselves and promote their projects, but when they don’t want to follow the rules, they are no longer a part of it. They may be two of the most self-serving people on earth.
