‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that losing your wife is hard enough. But having a nemesis be the new man she loves is devastating.
However, it has become possible for Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) world to change. It appeared Clifton’s character needed help to make his ex-wife see who Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is. But the impossible is now within reach.
Xander Avant’s (Adain Bradley) return to Los Angeles, California, and talk with John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is monumental. The likelihood that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam will finally learn the whole truth about the baby Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) story has increased ten-fold.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – What Was Thomas Forrester’s Motivation?
During that time in the plot, Thomas is convinced that keeping Beth’s existence alive is right. He contained that information by coercing people not to tell the truth.
Thomas believed his chances of eventually winning Hope over would be better if she and Liam were apart. His strategy finally worked as Liam returned to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Hope married Thomas. But that did not work out as Thomas intended because Hope only did so for Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) best interest. She also did not allow a romantic relationship to happen.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Hope Logan Does Not Say No
Digitally skipping five calendar years ahead, Thomas asked Hope to remarry him. She turned him down but did not say no.
Instead, Hope offered a not-yet pause. She is fond of Thomas and wants time to determine what life can become.
Hope knowingly leaves the soapy door open to an actual marriage by not ruling out Thomas or turning him down. But Xander‘s tell to Finn and Steffy’s knowledge of the allegation alters Thomas’ positive trajectory.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Liam Spencer Took A Breather
Liam had a sad Christmas and New Year’s experience. He was without his wife; his other love, Steffy, was with Finn. Wallowing in self-pity will lead Liam to lash back eventually.
Clifton’s character never believes Thomas should be anywhere near Hope. Plenty of drama can be had by having Liam learn Thomas drove Emma off Mulholland Drive to preserve the Beth secret.
So, it is reasonable to believe Liam will learn the truth in this new year. From that point in the plot, anything becomes possible, including Hope again distrusting Thomas. It would also seem logical that she and Liam would have to commiserate, endlessly, about what Thomas did by causing Emma’s death to keep the Beth secret preserved on B&B.
