The new season of 90 Day: The Single Life is coming to TLC on January 1 and fans are thrilled to see the new cast. Chantel Everett from 90 Day Fiance and the Family Chantel is making her 90 Day: The Single Life debut. She and her ex-husband, Pedro Jimeno are now divorced and she is trying her hand at finding love again.
This time around, Chantel has a better idea of what kind of man she wants in her life. She may not be ready for marriage again yet, but she is ready to date and see what the world has to offer her. In fact, she will go on a few dates during this season, but one of her first ones is pretty triggering. Let’s find out what happened.

While in Greece, Chantel is trying to find love again. She meets one man and at the end of her evening with him, she kisses him as he gets on his motorcycle. She walked away feeling better than ever, but suddenly she got very upset. She admitted to the cameras, “I got my adrenaline going, and it felt wrong but it felt good.” Then Chantel got triggered by a memory of her ex, Pedro.
She mentioned to her friends that she had been triggered by this moment. She brought up the fact that Pedro did something very similar for her and she began to cry and freak out. As her fans tried to calm her down, she thought about the past and how hurt she was by Pedro.

No matter how strong Chantel has appeared on the show, she still has a lot of pain in her heart. She told the cameras that when Pedro filed for divorce, “the rug was ripped out from under me.” He shattered her entire image of what marriage and life looked like for her. She wasn’t expecting this to happen to her after the years that they spent together.
Chantel is aware that there will be more triggering moments in her life because of her past with Pedro. She is trying to face them head-on, but it isn’t the easiest thing for her to tackle. She wants to find a man who is the opposite of Pedro and thinks that she is ready to move on.
