General Hospital (GH) spoilers: Ava Jerome (Maura West) is confident that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is behind her torment.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ava Thinks Nikolas Killed Austin and Is Now Tormenting Her
The terrified Ms. Jerome believes that the photo, the notes, and the gun are the work of someone who truly wants revenge on her, and she believes that someone is Nikolas.
After Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) bit the bullet (so to speak), Ava thought that the only person who could have killed him was Nikolas.
She thinks he is doing all this to frame her for his murder as an act of revenge for her almost killing him. However, we all know that Nikolas threatened to take Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) away from her, and she responded by hitting him over the head with a statue, knocking him out cold.
Ava thinks Nikolas sent her the picture of a very much dead Austin after he was killed. It’s a complex web of intrigue as Ava contemplates how to stop Nikolas.
There is a long-awaited reunion in the works for Ava and Nikolas. He may show up at her apartment, and a very shaken Ava, fearing for her life, will shoot first and ask questions later.
Ava is not the type of woman who likes to play games. Even if Nikolas shows up and attempts to apologize for his past behavior, she’s not going to give Nikolas the chance to defend himself.
Ava will not believe that Nikolas is innocent, but he will surely try to talk his way out of her shooting him.
If Ava severely wounds Nikolas, it could create a fascinating storyline with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who will not take too kindly to Nikolas getting hurt.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nikolas Isn’t the Only One With Motive
Nikolas being shot could also spark an inner conflict when Nikolas survives and wants to rat out Ava for the statue incident. He may want to tell the police what she did after she shoots him.
Even though we suspect that Nikolas is not the culprit, he certainly has a motive to want to make Ava pay. But if Nikolas isn’t the one tormenting her, then who is?
It could very well be Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Ryan may not be dead. He is clever and calculated enough to fake his death.
Ryan was also very much obsessed with Ava. He spent years stalking her and creating various plots to capture Ava.
As far as that goes, it could also be Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey). He made it a point to let Ava know he wasn’t happy that she had a brief romance with Austin.
Mason even tried to kill her when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) came in the nick of time to shoot Mason and prevent any harm from coming to Ava.
It would be way too obvious for the writers to make Nikolas the killer. Despite his shortcomings, he still loved Ava and probably wouldn’t go that far.
Right now, Ava is not even considering that anyone else could be responsible. She honestly thinks that Nikolas is guilty and could cost Ava her freedom.
