After an apparent epiphany, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin. He claims to have nearly died in a car race and, along with his years-long soul searching, sought to make amends.
Now, after Tucker’s remarriage imploded during the honeymoon and his son disavowed him, St. John’s character wants to burn GC down. Enter Phyllis, who he sees as harboring a grudge he can mine.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Luring Jeremy Stark To Town
The greatest mistake Phyllis made also nearly cost her life. She contacted Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to lure him to town. The aim was to use Jeremy to force Diane out of town at that point in the plot.
After initially denying doing so, Phyllis admitted wanting to help him get Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters). However, she soon realized Jeremy was a maniac and a hardcore criminal.
Stafford’s character was unable to end the faked murder hoax Jeremy convinced her to perpetrate and had to force her way out. That produced Jeremy’s attempt to kill her and being killed himself. Phyllis has been reeling ever since.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Children Are Cautiously Optimistic
It is the Christmas season, and Phyllis is their mother. So, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) have forgiven Phyllis, but they can not forget how she manipulated them.
Phyllis’ goal is to heal her family rift, and she is making progress. But the trust factor will take a while, which she understands.
But if Phyllis accepts Tucker’s offer, she probably will regret it. He is troubled and can not possibly do anything to help improve her state in life.
‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers – Tucker McCall Has Nothing To Lose
Trying to regain trust takes work. But Phyllis is making progress and needs to stay on a straight-forward path.
Tucker is comparable to a dirty dog who walks with muddy paws across a newly shined linoleum floor in the kitchen. Phyllis should not put herself in the position of hurling mud at Diane to disrupt the Abbot family.
In short, Phyllis should take Tucker’s offer and relay that information to Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Doing so would prove she has changed and could help stop Tucker on Y&R.
