‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers document that family members can hold grudges because of misunderstandings. That happened when Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) believed his cousin was getting special treatment.
However, Eric Forrester (John McCook) did not ask RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to work with him because he was the golden boy. Zende’s natural reaction to RJ being Eric’s leading designer for the Fashion Challenge included rising tensions.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had to tell Zende the truth after finding him in the design office at Forrester Creations. The reveal was devastating and immediately altered Zende’s perception.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – RJ Forrester Acted Selflessly
Hoffman’s character returned to Los Angeles, California, intending to avoid conflict. RJ admitted that he stayed on the road in recent years because of some of the family troubles.
Devoted viewers knew RJ was destined to be pulled into a dispute from the moment he voiced his opposition to doing so. Sure enough, multiple soapy issues developed, and Zende eventually targeted his cousin as a problem.
Kudos to TPTB for this recast, as Hoffman is an excellent young actor. His edition of a young adult RJ has been stellar, including his selfless interactions with Eric.
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Zende Forrester Dominguez Overcame A Lot
Slightly before Eric’s collapse, he told his adopted grandson something significant. Zende heard his grandfather say he was proud of him because of all he had overcome.
Longtime fans recall the touching storyline when Daniel Smith (who initially played Zende as a boy) met Kristen Forrester Dominguez (Tracy Melchoir) and her husband, Antonio Dominguez (Paulo Benedeti), during their honeymoon in Africa. Zende’s parents both died; they adopted the orphan boy and brought him to LA.
As a side note, Kristen is Eric’s daughter through the late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery). She was last seen on B&B in 2017.
Zende is a good-hearted guy who cares about family. He could not understand why Eric seemingly slighted him. While the situation was explained, fans will watch to see if the writing staff explores a triangle between the cousins and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada).
‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers – Luna Nozawa Has Family Problems Too
Luna came into RJ’s life at what’s proven to be the right time. She dreamed of working at FC, and a well-timed meeting with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) allowed that to happen.
However, Luna’s aunt, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), wants her out of LA. Luna has done nothing wrong. But her mother, Penelope Poppy Nozawa (Roma Park), once wronged Li.
More scene time will be given to Luna’s issues once the major storyline involving Eric resolves. Until then, she will keep her focus on RJ on B&B.
