Meghan has been trying to revamp her career and have a big Hollywood comeback for years, but it hasn’t worked out.
Meghan Markle is “Guilty by Association”
The controversy generated by Scobie’s book makes Meghan Markle “guilty by association,” and she may not be able to succeed. She has never made anyone believe she could play any character other than Rachel Zane on “Suits,” as she is a B-list actress with no other notable credentials.
“Endgame” could be the final blow to Meghan’s potential career. Brand and culture experts say that Meghan’s LA representative may fear that she has ruined her reputation and may potentially bring negative or unwanted publicity to their agency.
Two royal family members, Scobie, just named as “royal racists.” King Charles and Kate Middleton have been slandered. This is Meghan’s husband’s family, and therefore Meghan’s family. No one in Hollywood wants to be associated with racism.
There are impending court cases between Meghan and her sister and Meghan and her father. These cases could spell trouble for Mehan, and she would bring that into her brand. It would be bad news for the talent agency she’s associated with.
Meghan Markle was recently at Variety’s Power of Women gala and talked about “exciting” new projects. If Meghan weren’t such a magnet for bad publicity, she would be a PR representative’s dream come true.
Meghan is married to Prince Harry and was once a working royal family member. She could bring a lot to the table but doesn’t make sound choices.
Scobie May Have Meant to Burn His Bridges
Meghan is proving “too hot to handle,” as Omid Scobie’s book has sparked fury among the royal family, which is terrible news for both Meghan and Harry.
Rumor has it that Scobie meant to do Harry and Meghan dirty, and then left them to deal with the fallout of the book.
“Endgame” turns out to be just as damaging for Meghan as “Spare” was for Harry. It doesn’t help that neither Harry nor Meghan have spoken up about the book, as they think that if they remain silent, it will all go away.
But the silence is deafening, as the couple appear just as guilty as Scobie. The New York Post has claimed that William Morris is “horrified” by the potential damage Scobie’s book may have done to Meghan’s brand.
Scobie has been called “Meghan’s mouthpiece on more than one occasion. However, a source close to Meghan denied leaking the names to Scobie, but it doesn’t matter. It’s guilt by association. She never intended for King Charles or the Princess of Wales to be named publicly.
What’s so interesting is that after Harry and Meghan’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, the racist accusations disappeared.
The couple didn’t mention it in their Netflix docuseries, “Harry and Meghan.”
The “royal racist row” could be very detrimental to the Duchess of Sussex and destroy her standing with her talent agency, as well as her “big Hollywood comeback.”
