Kate Middleton’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, calls out Omid Scobie for blatant character assassination in his new book, “Endgame,” which has everybody having a conniption over the chapter where Scobie names the “royal racists.”
“Endgame” is a Tapestry of Gibber and Falsehoods
Scobie’s first book, “Finding Freedom” was definitely biased toward the side of Harry and Meghan. However, Scobie vehemently denies being friends with the Duchess.
Scobie also claims that he never submitted any manuscript that included the names of the royals who allegedly talked about Archie’s skin color.
Gary Goldsmith recently told the Daily Mail,
“Everything that weaselly individual writes has a negative spin that is not deserved.”
The Princess’s uncle went on to say,
“Racism isn’t something which is inherent in anyone. It comes from an environment. Both Kate’s mum Carole and I grew up in Southall West, London. Color, race, age, creed, and religious beliefs have never been a factor in our friendships or values. To think that Kate would buck that trend is totally bonkers. The whole book is just a tapestry of gibber and falsehoods sewn together with his personal opinion.”
Kate being named as one of the supposed “royal racists” is ridiculous. King Charles is the other royal named in the book.
Meghan Markle’s accusations against the royal family have caused much damage. This is not the first time the palace has seen backlash from these claims.
When William and Kate came to the US and attended a Celtics game in Boston last year after the Queen perished, their visit was fraught with controversy. The crowd booed the couple mercilessly.
Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah in March 2021 sparked serious controversy over whether the royal family was indeed racist, which is how the whole conversation got started.
After the interview, Prince William exclaimed they are “very much not a racist family.” Earlier this week, Appearing at the Royal Variety Performance, William and Kate welcomed a standing ovation.
The British Public Knows that Scobie is a Liar and Opportunist
The British public knows that there is no truth to these allegations. Scobie is obviously just trying to make as much money as possible for his book and is stirring up the pot for publicity.
His words about Kate are pretty offensive. He says she is “cold” and a “Stepford wife.” He uses phrases to describe her, such as
“tightly controlled” and “carefully assembled.”
Scobie also claims that Kate Middleton’s mother encouraged her to go to St. Andrews University to meet and land Prince William.
The truth is that Kate was pursuing a degree in art history, and St. Andrews had the best program for art students.
Scobie also compares Kate to Princess Diana and Meghan Markle. He claims that Kate has been a
“much more teachable, pliable future Queen.”
The author suggests that Kate has no backbone and doesn’t stand up for what’s right. She will not challenge the system like Diana and Meghan. Kate is a hard worker and takes her family, royal duties, and her title seriously.
In the midst of all this is character assassination; Scobie is right about one thing and one thing only: he’s burned his bridges.
