British Royal News finds that she might be one of the most fashionable and stylish women in the world, but even Kate Middleton admits to having some style mishaps from time to time. In fact, there are new reports that tease that Duchess of Cambridge certainly has one regret from Christmas morning. Here’s what you need to know.
By now everyone knows that when the Duchess of Cambridge wears something, it sells out within minutes. But during the royal family’s traditional walk from Sandringham House to St. Mary Magdalene’s church, Kate Middleton wanted to take off her heavy grey Catherine Walker coat and green fascinator and pronto, too! That’s because she was absolutely heating up in it. The weather wasn’t that cold in Norfolk that morning and apparently the Duchess couldn’t take the heat. But at the same time, there was no way for her to take off the coat, especially while meeting and greeting all of the well-wishers who came out to see the royal family that day.

Prince William’s wife even told a fan by the name of Rachel Anvil that she wished she had worn something lighter. Rachel’s mother Karen told Metro that “Kate was talking to my daughter about clothes and how she was feeling too hot. She said, ‘I really shouldn’t have worn this.'”
Kaen also added that she exchanged a few words with Kate Middleton’s daughter, Princess Charlotte. “I’m there talking to Charlotte about dolls, and my daughter’s talking about fashion with Kate. It wasn’t fake; it was a genuine discussion. It was about a minute, but it was tailored to my daughter, it was like speaking to a friend. They are totally different with the public [than the press].”
