‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) has the final prognosis from the doctor. As things are looking right now, he only has about six more months to live. If he proceeds with this stressful fashion competition against his son, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), will that be cut even shorter?
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Failing Health
Eric Forrester hasn’t been feeling too well. The first symptom to cause him some irritation was trembling hands. His hands were trembling so badly that he was not able to grip a pencil. This was an issue for an artist and designer.
Because of his trembling hands, Eric begged his grandson, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) to help him. Eric would articulate his vision for a piece and then RJ would draw. Eric would suggest edits and changes along the way to align with his vision.
The trembling hands have not been the only issue though. Eric began to cough often and has been coughing up blood. This is serious. The doctor ran bloodwork and ordered tests. The results are in, and they are not good. Eric has been given the prognosis of only having 6 months to live.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Competition
Eric has decided that he needs to compete with Ridge to see who the better designer is. This will be Eric’s “last hurrah”. He knows this is it and he wants to leave a lasting impression.
Ridge doesn’t know his father is dying. He doesn’t really think that this competition is the best thing for the business, but this company is his father’s company. While he wants to honor him, he also wants to come out on top and win the competition.
Eric just broke the news to RJ. His grandson was shocked to hear that he is dying. He doesn’t want to continue with this competition but wants to spend their time and money seeking care for Eric.
That is not of any interest to Eric. He points out that everyone has a limited time, and he wants to use his last moments feeling enlivened by his passion. He also wants RJ to keep this news under wraps. Do you think he’ll be able to?
