On Welcome to Plathville this season, things have taken a turn for the worst with Ethan and Olivia Plath’s marriage. In fact, they have seemed to have hit rock bottom with all of their problems and drama.
There is a lot of pressure on them right now to make their marriage work. They have taken a lot of space from one another and they thought that they had worked through all of their problems. It turns out that they had a lot more though.

In the mid-season trailer, things do not look good for them at all. Ethan and Olivia opened up about what has changed in their marriage and from the looks of it, things don’t look good. Let’s find out more.
Welcome to Plathville: Ethan Speaks His Mind
When Ethan and Olivia decided to open up about what was changing in their marriage, things got pretty heated. He said to her, “Why are you this way now? You weren’t this way before.”
He continues to grill her on how her behavior has changed since they have been married. Interestingly enough, she posted a strange quote on Instagram just a few days later. It read, “To love someone long-term is to attend a thousand funerals of the person they used to be.”
In a confessional, Ethan said, “When me and Olivia moved up here to Minnesota, we were in a very good place. That has completely disappeared in a matter of months.” Olivia tells him that when they were dating, she felt like he treated her with a lot more respect than he does now.
Ethan knows that things have gotten bad between his family and Olivia. Olivia has made some horrible claims about his family, but his family feels as if she has gotten in the way of his relationship with them.
He told his brother and father, “She feels like you guys wish that me and her weren’t together.” Then his brother Micah Plath said to him, “If I was to get married, I would hate for my marriage to look like this.”
In order to try to get away from the drama in his marriage, he decided to go visit his siblings that are living in California now. Of course, now he has to deal with the drama between his sister, Moriah Plath. Moriah feels as if Olivia “pulled you away from everybody.”
What will happen between Olivia and Ethan now? Will they kiss and make up one more time? We will have to wait and see what happens next on Welcome to Plathville on TLC.
