The Duke and Duchess, Harry and Meghan, are being called out for manipulating the media and controlling the narrative when it comes to their public image.
The couple has had a lot of publicity lately. Meghan is strategically planning a power move from their do-gooder campaigning to their incessant presence in the media spotlight.
Harry and Meghan Put on a Good Show
Harry and Meghan spent the last week hosting the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany. They may want to help disabled veterans (Harry did serve in the army for ten years), but the main objective appears to be putting on a good show for the public.
It is no secret that Meghan wants to make a Hollywood comeback, and part of her motivation for all the media attention is to get her back into the spotlight so she can make her move. Harry, whose tell-all memoir, “Spare,” sent shockwaves throughout the royal kingdom, is on board with Meghan’s agenda.
Veteran royal author Tom Bower wrote,
“Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors,” said, “These two are real imposters. What we’ve witnessed in this past week is absolute media manipulation of the most extraordinary kind. It was clearly all set up.”
Dancing at the Beyonce Concert
The couple also appeared at a Beyonce concert earlier this month. It looked like an intentional photo opportunity for the two of them.
Whenever Harry and Meghan were in a picture, they looked all too ready to pose in the private box they shared with a group of people.
When Harry thought no one was looking, he looked bored and checked his phone during the performance.
However, the duo could be seen clumsily dancing to the 2003 hit “Crazy in Love,” making it seem like Harry was having the time of his life.
Harry and Meghan Are Only Interested in Promoting Themselves
Harry and Meghan, who received critical backlash for their Netflix documentary despite commercial success, are now championing their “Heart of Invictus” documentary.
However, Harry and Meghan are using it for their own promotion, which isn’t cool. The two of them have an end game.
Harry and Meghan’s approval rating is down in America, but Harry is more accepted than Meghan. Meghan’s approval rating, according to Newsweek, is minus 2. She is liked by 31 percent and disliked by 33 percent.
On the other hand, Harry has an approval rating of plus 12. He is liked by 31 percent and disliked by 27 percent.
Bower explains that Harry and Meghan will also separate their brand to maintain their public images individually. Since Meghan wasn’t very transparent on her Spotify podcast, she needs a platform to be seen.
Bower further indicates that Meghan will likely write her own tell-all memoir. However, the Duchess may take issue with opening up and showing who she really is because everything is a PR opportunity for her.
Harry and Meghan moving to Malibu is so they can be closer to Hollywood. Meghan is desperate to get back into acting.
Meanwhile, Harry is reportedly going to Africa to film a documentary for Netflix. Sounds a lot like his Mum, doesn’t it?
