‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that with the addition of a new character, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), there a lot of possibilities for the show and adding some youth isn’t a bad thing at all.
However, there are also a lot of pitfalls that could come with it, especially considering characters like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) being single right now after his split from wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
This could potentially pave the way for Kyle to have his eyes set on somebody new, but I don’t think we want this character to be thrown into the fire already… It would be nice to have a character who didn’t immediately start sleeping with everyone as soon as they came to town, *cough* Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) *cough*.
Let’s just have an interesting character that could potentially build up the storylines and create an interesting dynamic. Unfortunately, I think the writers are going to throw her to Kyle immediately.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) Needs To STAY AWAY From Claire Grace (Hayley Erin)
Sure, at the moment Kyle seems to be tied up with Audra and they have been spending a lot of time together, but it’s been a minute since Kyle was a bachelor and he may see someone new and not care about how Audra feels about it.
I don’t think she cares much about how he feels either. Instead of Claire coming in and adding some fresh blood to the cast and revitalizing the show, they will ruin her story by having her sleep with Kyle.
I would like to see Claire come in, get a decent job and maybe makes friends with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), or others around her age, and really introduce us to a new generation of ‘The Young and the Restless’ characters.
The show desperately needs a younger shot of adrenaline, I just want to see This could give the show a much-needed boost and help it stay relevant. It could also help to bring in new viewers and create a more diverse cast.
Building up these characters to take the reigns when the older characters leave is what we need, so having them instantly fall into each other’s beds and start sleeping around might dampen their ability to carry the show forward. Instead, the show should focus on developing their characters and relationships.
This could be done by introducing them to new people, having them take on new challenges, and having them work together as a team.
