Once again looking for a home, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have their sights set on an expensive piece of paradise in Malibu where a brand-new mansion is being built. They had previously left Los Angeles and have been all around since, trying to maintain relevancy.
The Duchess of Sussex and the Duke of Sussex visited a $8 million piece of Malibu real estate over their long weekend. According to our sources, Meghan and Harry visited a nearly 6-acre estate.
The groundwork has already been done for the main mansion, which will be 10,000 square feet, and there is also a guard house and large pool on the site.
Apparently it’s part of the appeal for Meghan and Harry. The property is incredibly quiet and private, sitting above the Pacific Coast Highway and overlooking Broad Beach.
There’s a gate and a lengthy approach up to where the main home will sit, perfect for being left alone even when they want to stay in the public eye.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry HOUSEHUNTING In Malibu, Are They Looking To Set Roots?
Allegedly the asking price is $8 million; the main house’s blueprints have already received approval, and a building crew is on the job. If Harry and Meghan purchase the property, they will be responsible for the projected $10 million construction expenditures.
In contrast to the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, Meghan and Harry presently reside in a $14 million estate in Montecito. The Malibu property is also very close to Nobu, a favorite restaurant of celebrities, and is only a short drive from Beverly Hills and L.A.
Meghan and Harry are considering selling their house in Montecito and relocating permanently to Malibu. It’s far enough away from Hollywood to provide them protection and privacy while still being close enough for them to conduct business there.
