‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) is in a very precarious position. She is having to rely on the word of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). That’s not so easy, particularly since Adam is the one blackmailing her. How can she get out of this unscathed?

Audra Charles messed up. When she was working for McCall Unlimited, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) ordered her to take care of a problem. A musician on tour with them was accused of statutory rape.
When they found out, they hid the news until the tour was over. Then McCall Unlimited dropped the musician, and he faced charges and was held accountable.
Tucker told Audra to clean up the mess so that no one would be aware that McCall Unlimited knew about the allegations before the tour finished. She did as he asked, but she sent him some emails confirming that everything was taken care of.
The emails went to his spam folder and were missed when everything was purged before the sale to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) took place.
Adam Newman found the emails and is using them as leverage against both Tucker and Audra. He told Tucker that he could not let the EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) disappear until Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) was off the hook for her crimes.
Audra was instructed to get Victor and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on board with merging Adustus with Newman Media.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Uncomfortable Position
Audra has begged Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to help her win Victoria over on the merger between Adustus and Newman Media. Victoria isn’t very keen on it, so Nate is going to have to work hard to convince her that this is a good idea. Once she is on board, they will have to convince Victor together.
The problem is, when the companies merge, Audra will no longer be CEO. She could actually have no position in the new company. She really wants some kind of confirmation that she won’t be kicked to the curb, but Adam won’t promise anything.
Audra tells him that she wants to be second in company, after the trio of Adam, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman Rosales (Sharon Case).
Adam has things that he says he admires about Audra, but he won’t put any promise in writing. He says she has to come through first on getting the merger to go through. She is trying her best, but that decision isn’t really in her hands.
However, if she fails, the news about the cover-up would also tank her professionally. Audra is in a terrible position and must feel very manipulated and vulnerable right now.
