Celebrities: Josh Seiter’s Clout Chasing Pays Off As OnlyFans and Instagram Blow Up After Announcing His New Relationship
Many of his followers on social media feel that he is the ultimate clout chaser, however, after talking with Josh about life and his past, it turns out that things are looking great for him and if it is clout chasing he has been doing, it has paid off. Let’s find out how.
OnlyFans and Instagram Blow Up, What Caused This?
After Josh came out as bisexual, he got a lot of backlash and hate. He began dating a man named David and the two of them were going strong for a few weeks. With all of the attention that they received though, David knew that he needed to focus on himself and not the hate that the couple got on social media.
Josh told us, “He was not used to that kind of attention, and reading the online comments gave him depression and anxiety. He’s currently seeing a counselor and working on piecing his life back together. Mostly people were telling us to die or calling us homophobic slurs.”
Josh recently shared some of these slurs on his Instagram account. One follower wrote to Josh, “Disgusting. You should have finished the job when you tried to kill yourself. One less f*g in the world.”
Even though Josh did get some hate on social media about coming out as bisexual, he has seen his numbers increase on Instagram and OnlyFans. He told us, “My Onlyfans is doing great.
Since coming out as bisexual I’ve gone from a few hundred subscribers to over 2,000. I’m now in the top 1% of all creators on the platform. I’ve been in the top 1-10% of all creators worldwide for five years straight, which is something I’m extremely grateful for.
I think this success is a combination of the thirst traps I post on Instagram and the fact that I’m a very vocal voice for those struggling with mental health issues. This makes me extremely relatable to a very large audience.”
His Time on The Bachelorette
This isn’t the first time that Josh has endured this kind of hate though. When he appeared on the Bachelorette, he witnessed the biogtry that the show has toward the LGBTQ+ community. He opened to us more about his time on the show. He said, “The bachelorette is structured with a bias towards LGBTQ people.
The structure requires that people of the opposite sex compete for each others love. You never see any real representation from people from the LGBTQ community on the show.
If the show was serious about respecting LGBTQ Individuals they would make a season where it’s a group of same sex contestants and a same sex bachelor/bachelorette.”
Josh added, “I didn’t experience hate from the producers on The Bachelorette but they repeatedly lied to me about my role on the show and repeatedly asked me to do things I was uncomfortable with during filming. After the show aired I called out the producers for forcing me to strip out of the limo, and one of the higher up producers sent me a number of rather threatening texts. He basically said that the franchise would sue me if I didn’t stop telling the public about my experience on the show. Overall it was a terrible experience and it simply proved to me that the producers on the show care about nothing other than ratings and money. If that happens to ruin a contestant‘s mental health or cause a contestant severe harm to their reputation, so be it. They are pretty despicable people.”
Even though there are plenty of haters that claim Josh is doing all of this for money and clout, whatever it is that he is doing seems to be working.
