The Duggars enjoy sharing wedding and birth announcements. The huge fundamentalist family is known for having as many children as God wants them to. No matter how strict their Christian beliefs are, they seem to know how to make a lot of babies!
In fact, one of the Duggar daughters, Joy-Anna Forsyth recently announced that she and her husband, Austin Forsyth, have welcomed their third child together.
Duggar Family News: The New Baby
Austin and Joy-Anna welcomed their baby boy on Friday, May 19. They took to social media to update fans on how the birth went and how the baby is doing. The post stated, “He’s here! Thank you all for praying…Mama and baby are recovering well.”
Duggar Family News: Joy-Anna Forsyth Has Her Third Child With Husband, Austin Forsyth
In this post, Joy-Anna is holding her son and Austin leans over them and smiled. The couple’s fans were happy to see that the baby was doing well and that Joy-Anna and Austin were both able to hold him.
Joy-Anna made the annoucement that she was pregnant back in October. She shared some photos of her growing baby bump and some ultrasound photos as well. This is her third child and her second son.
She has a five-year-old named, Gideo and a two-year old daughter named Evelyn. Of course, fans are curious what the couple will name their third child.
She was pretty excited to welcome baby number three since she recently suffered from a miscarriage at 20 weeks. This happened between the birth of Gideo and Evelyn so it was a very hard time for her.
When she opened up about the miscarriage, she wrote to her fans, “It still hurts and we have cried countless tears. But we know that we can trust the Lord. What a precious thing to know that when out daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”
Joy-Anna’s brother, Jeremiah Duggar and his wife also announced in 2022 that they were starting a family and ready to welcome their baby this year as well.
This birth comes just hours after the announcement of the docu-series, Shiny Happy People on Amazon. This series will focus on the Christian fundamentalist lifetsyle and the lies and secrets that the Duggars kept from TLC and fans.
It is unclear if Joy-Anna will appear in the series yet, but we will continue to keep our eyes on Amazon for the June 2 premiere of Shiny Happy People. As for now, fans can keep up with Joy-Anna on social media to see what they end up naming their new son.
