‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveals that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is playing the long game in response to Nate Hasting’s (Sean Dominic) infidelity. She is going to act, but it will not be in the way one would expect.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) delivered the blow to Elena as she always does, eager to share the latest gossip. Elena believed that Nate was heading to Los Angeles on his own for meetings. Audra lets her know that is not the case. Nate and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) are in Los Angeles together.
Elena is stunned. She is definitely sad and hurt by this, but she seems to not be surprised as well. She seems to be most angry at herself, for believing that Nate was truthful.
Elena knows his ambition and his willingness to do anything to get on top. She knows that he would even betray his family, as he did at Chancellor-Winters, so why would he not betray her?
As the saying goes, ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’. Elena is going to get her revenge and it won’t be pretty.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Considering Options
Elena tells Audra that she is going to act. She’s not going to just go on as if everything is okay and normal. Elena recognizes that there are lots of options. She could scream, yell, throw all of his stuff out on the road, or do something else emotional.
As the hurt gives way to intense anger, Elena decides to head in a different direction. She makes the decision to find and interview J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) for her medical podcast. Hellstrom was Victoria’s violent and abusive partner from the past.
This decision will be damaging and embarrassing to Victoria’s reputation, which is right where Elena wants to go. She wants to get back at Victoria for making the moves on her man, and this will be just the way to put it to Victoria.
This will also have the potential to be damaging to Nate in his position at Newman Media. Nate has obviously put that first, over his relationship with Elena, so this is where she will attack him.
What do you think about Elena’s plan? It may take a while to find J.T. Hellstrom. Will she be able to maintain her relationship with Nate until then, without letting him know she’s aware of his bad behavior? Will she still confront him when he returns, even if the interview is not yet secured?
