Insiders claim that the eviction of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from Frogmore Cottage is just the beginning, and that other members of the royal family will also need to rely on their own resources.

It was revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were asked to leave their Windsor residence, which was previously gifted to them by the deceased monarch Queen Elizabeth II.

The couple resided in the cottage, but shocked everyone by leaving their royal duties and relocating to California. It is reported that the couple was surprised when they found out that their UK home was being taken away from them.

King Charles III apparently began the eviction process on the day following the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare.

It has been asserted that changes to living arrangements may not be limited to Harry and Meghan alone, as the King aims to modernize and streamline in the next five years, with more changes expected beyond what has already been reported.

According to a report by the Evening Standard, Charles has expressed a desire to reduce the number of royals who rely on the Crown for support, particularly those who do not fulfill their duties.

Additionally, he has suggested that family members who are unable to afford their current living situation should adjust their expenses accordingly.

A source confirmed the following: “A lot of practices that have evolved during the last reign will be changing”

“The King is not heartless or reckless, but if the family members are not part of the core family and not working for the crown, it is fair for them to house themselves and fund themselves.”

Ingrid Seward, an expert on the royal family, has stated that Charles is fully aware of the negative perception associated with owning vacant properties across the country during difficult times.

Ingrid suggests that Prince Andrew may be offered Frogmore Cottage as an alternative to giving up Royal Lodge, and this decision is likely due to Charles’ efforts to make significant budget cuts.

The social media response was in support of what Charles could propose. This was on the basis that there was no logical reason for non-working royals to have significant benefits.

One person wrote: “If you are not a working royal, they you need to lose your title(s) and start paying for your own expenses including a home.”
