Recently, Christina Aguilera has been candidly discussing her beauty treatments.

Fans Slam Christina Aguilera’s Use Of Injectables-‘It’s A Speeding Train To Madonna Land’

The 42-year-old singer is one of the celebrities endorsing Merz Aesthetics and Xeomin, an injectable used to reduce the wrinkles between the eyebrows. The artist reported that she talked to her physicians and beauty team before trying Xeomin, and she was anxious that the anti-aging therapy could obstruct her capacity to connect with her fans.

In her comments, she said: “I’ve always been a pretty open book about embracing my body, my looks, and things like that. I think we all can rely on a little help. Why not? When I’m on stage, authenticity in my face comes first. I have a very expressive face.”

Nevertheless, those comments did not go down very well for the following reasons. First of all, a certain subset of people were of the view that the singer was setting an unrealistic standard of beauty by endorsing products that were expensive and could potentially carry some risks.

Secondly, others argued that she was destroying her natural beauty by promoting these products, rather than making lifestyle changes, or aging gracefully. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.

One person wrote: “What random, incoherent comments about injecting botulism in her face,” while another person stated: “It’s a speeding train to Madonna Land.” The latter comments suggest that there are dangers with doing these types of procedures.

Madonna has been subjected to various comments throughout the years, with her face having become unrecognizable due to the rumored amount of cosmetic work that she has allegedly had done. While there is nothing to suggest that Christina will follow the same line of reasoning, it does suggest that it could prove to be problematic if not handled properly.

So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
