Recently, Jeffree Star said that he would be returning to his original content of doing “Jeffree Star approved” reviews for makeup and he wasn’t lying, it may have taken him a minute but they’re slowly but surely going up. It looks like he still hasn’t reviewed the L’Oreal telescopic Lift Mascara yet, but it’s coming, considering the fact that he won’t stop shading Mikayla Nogueira on his review videos.
In one review video in particular of the new Two Face vs. Dior Blush, the gloves came off when he grabbed the blush, opened it, squealed in an over the top way exclaiming about how pretty it was before completely shutting it down and turning to the camera and saying, “That’s what we’re not going to be doing on Jeffree Star’s tiktok today, you fake ass hoes.” he didn’t expressly mention Mikayla by name, but those who have watched her videos claim that it’s clear that he was referring to her. Ouch!
Jeffree Star DRAGS the entire tiktok beauty community!
In another review of the Jimmy Choo lipglosses (which pack a major punch at $62… ouch!) he did another mini-freak out where he said he couldn’t believe that Jimmy Choo was still wrapping its items in plastic. “The earth is dying, Miss Thing!” he cried in the most over-the-top voice he could manage.
We’re not sure that he was shading Mikayla with this one, but he was definitely coming for some in the tiktok beauty community with how animated he was being. His other videos have been a lot of makeup transformations, not a lot of talking, just videos of Jeffree putting on makeup or using his skin care line. (Wyoming Winter got a feature.)
One does wonder if Jeffree is going to review James Charles’ makeup line when it comes out, that could be awhile and we really doubt that James Charles would put Jeffree Star down on his PR list, but if Jeffree Star goes out and buys it with his own money then there’s nothing that James can do.
If he did review the makeup, would the sins of the past get in the way or would Jeffree do an impartial, professional review? He might actually give it a good review, but we are willing to bet that any review that he gives will be filled with subtle shade. We can’t wait. Stay tuned!
