After being accused of making “misogynistic” remarks about Nikki Haley, CNN employees are “annoyed” with Don Lemon, with one coworker calling the anchor’s ego “colossal.” After receiving criticism for his “sexist” remarks about the Republican presidential candidate, a CNN insider spoke to Radar Online.
“He has a colossal ego and he’s the kind of person who goes around saying he’s not going to take the fall for his show flopping, it’s not his fault and the network’s tanking, and they shouldn’t have pushed him out of his primetime slot,” the source said.

They continue to say that ratings are down and no one is happy. “The ratings are way down, the new boss is implementing tough new rules, and no one is happy. All these people were pampered with perks and pats on the back until now and all of a sudden Don, Wolf Blitzer and others are at a point of ‘yikes, we’re in trouble.’”
There are also claims that Lemon is on his last strike, and if he has another moment that is offensive or controversial, he could be on his way out of the company! Some wonder if he is purposefully trying to get fired as he doesn’t seem to happy to be working there anyways.
In the meantime, he has returned to CNN and will be working business as usual for now. However, there seems to be a lot of inner turmoil happening behind the scenes, and are wondering if CNN will collapse in on itself soon. Certainly there will be a breaking point and we will see Lemon (who has been the face of CNN for a while) out of work and looking for something else.
