EastEnders is renowned for its dramatic Christmas Day episodes and their offering this year promises to be no different, as it will be one that Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) and Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) will forget.
In the scenes that are due to air around Christmas Day viewers will finally see Phil (Steve McFadden) find out the truth surrounding his wife’s baby. That truth is, of course, that the father to that baby is, in fact, Phil’s daughter’s partner. Louise (Tilly Keeper) will remain oblivious to the pregnancy, but Phil will take the law into his own hands by dishing out his own punishment.

This has been a slow burn for fans of EastEnders, and they have had to remain patient for over a year and a bit to see the culmination of the story, and it promises to be extremely dramatic. Phil learns about the truth and carries out the retribution on the episode that is to air on Christmas Day.
Phil finds out the truth after accusing the wrong person of being the father. He points the finger directly at Jack Branning (Scott Maslen). Jack is shocked to learn of his discovery and pleads his case. Phil is overcome with rage and has ultimately decided that he has the right man. But, he makes a startling revelation, later on, that means he finally edges closer to the truth.

Phil continues to explore other possible people that is can be, but he is struggling to piece it all together. Ben (Max Bowden) offers to help him out, and promised him that the truth would eventually come out. Sharon and Keanu are blissfully unaware that Phil is looking for clues by asking residents how much they know and continue to go on like nothing is happening.
Ultimately, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) is the person that pieces it all together for Phil in dramatic fashion at a party to welcome back Louise to the area. The party is full of drama as Phil is hell-bent on revenge, and it isn’t long until Keanu realises that he knows.
Phil has a murderous look in his eye as he finally goes face to face with Keanu. But, will he be able to escape the clutches of Phil on the most dramatic of Christmas Day episodes?
