CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) may see things more clearly than the scheming executives at Newman Enterprises. While Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) may be excited about the scent of blood in the water, he suggests it is too early. Not everyone may be trustworthy, and he has concerns.

Victor is a relentless businessman. He knows what he wants, and he will do whatever it takes to get it. He will even take questionable steps to meet his goals. The thrill of a take-over excites him. His daughter Victoria doesn’t fall far from the tree. She too gets a glimmer in her eye when thinking about wresting Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) business away from him.
Michael delivers the discouraging news that they can’t just buy Tucker’s debt and immediately gain control over his company. They can take over his debt, but to control his company, they will have to get him to agree to sell. This will be a challenge, but one that Victoria is eager to take on.

Michael urges Victor and Victoria to be cautious where their employees are concerned. After sharing a steamy kiss with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), Victoria is eager to have him involved with the take-over. He is as ambitious and driven as they come. She believes he is trustworthy, but he really has not had the time to demonstrate his loyalty to Newman Enterprises.
While they agree to let Nate join their meeting to discuss their plans for McCall, Michael expresses even more concern about their plan to use Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as their “mole”. She was a spy for Tucker at Chancellor-Winters and got caught and fired.
Now she says she is loyal to Newman Enterprises, but she still has a connection with Tucker. Nate wants her to use this connection to get information about Tucker, but she could easily give vital information to Tucker. Michael says this is a bad idea, but Nate says he will proceed with caution.
