After having the chance to mingle with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres’ vow renewal ceremony, Brandi Carlile expressed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are just normal people.

This may come as a surprise since that is a far cry from the multi-million Montecito mansion that they live in. At her 50th birthday party, De Rossi had arranged a surprise vow renewal ceremony for Ellen and Kris Jenner acted as the officiant for the event.
In and amongst this, Brandi managed to get some words in with the Sussexes. And by the looks of it, she was impressed with the conversion that had taken place. In her comments, she said: “We talked to them for a long time like British accents, talked about the angiograms.
“They just really felt like normal, decent, good humored people. We just had a great chat. I’m not going to pretend that I haven’t seen the hub bub, but I haven’t paid very close attention to it.”
This comes in light of the couple’s absence from Oprah Winfrey’s 69th birthday celebration, despite living in the same vicinity. This was noticeable since they had trusted the talk show host with their controversial interview that aired in 2021.
In addition, according to the Mirror, King Charles III is making an offer to Harry and Meghan in the hope that they will attend his coronation. He is giving them the opportunity to have a prime spot at the event, along with the guarantee to keep their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
The offer of a prestigious seat and assurance of titles is meant to be an incentive to persuade them to take part. A source confirmed the following: “Harry’s camp made clear that the idea that he would just attend the Coronation and behave himself but then be stripped of his titles was a total non-starter.”
