One question that has been bothering them is whether to stay in the USA or move to the Dominican Republic, Yohan’s homeland. However, Daniele’s faith in Ifa has also not helped.
The Ifa religion is a belief system associated with the Yoruba people, a cultural group centered in Nigeria, Togo and Benin. This faith is grounded in the idea that the world around us mirrors the cosmos. The Ifa religion holds that the same forces that gave birth to the galaxies and stars are responsible for everything in existence on the planet.
And by the looks of it, this has already started to create issues in the relationship. Yohan, a devoted Christian, held the impression that Daniele’s religious views were akin to sorcery.
This could prove to be a challenge for him depending on how deeply he believes in one God, as opposed to Daniele believing in multiple gods. Yohan was also anxious about Daniele’s spiritual habits, such as burning incense. As such, Daniele declared to her friends that she would resign from her job and manifest a new life for herself.
She even warned Yohan that his ambitions would not come true. This was criticized on the basis that her worldview was held by making things into reality via her imagination, as opposed to taking realistic and practical steps.
Despite the criticism, Daniele is pressing ahead as normal. In the video here, we can see her doing some meditating as part of her belief in activating the chakras in the body. She has a massive smile on her face and could not be any happier.
