‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) might soon learn something that makes her angry. Let’s discuss about what’s in store since it appears that Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) may be getting into another fight. Fans are aware that Chance is tired of his profession and the distorted sense of justice he continues experiencing. Chance has come to the conclusion that he is simply unable to continue doing this.
Chance and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) have been discussing Chance’s future career move, and the two now appear prepared to make the switch. Chance seems to be planning to resign or at the very least take a leave of absence in order to sort things out because he has become weary of his job at the GCPD.
We can’t help but point out that Chance’s marriage would have benefited from this choice months ago. Chance’s employment played a significant role in the breakdown of his relationship with Abby. Things would not have been so tense with Abby if Chance had been prepared to leave the GCPD back then.

Chance seems to always prioritize his business over Abby and their relationship as a family. Of course, Abby must take responsibility for her errors as she shouldn’t have violated her marital vows by having an affair with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). Nobody could blame Abby, though, for being a little irate once she learns of Chance’s unexpected revelation and career change.
Chance’s decision to leave the force might make Abby question what went wrong. Abby might become even more enraged if Chance starts talking about Sharon guiding him along this new route. Sharon’s relationship with Chance and her capacity to make him see things clearly may cause Abby to grow envious. Whatever the case, Abby will undoubtedly be furious that Chance left the GCPD when it was already too late to save their marriage.
Chance and Abby might reconcile in the future, but the tension right now feels too high for them to even consider it. Instead, whether he recognizes it or not, Chance is already beginning to develop feelings for Sharon, and Abby is also moving closer to Devon.
