Telemundo La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Oleg Yosikov (Antonio Gil) suffered a huge blow last time. Meanwhile, Mateo Mena (Anderley Palomino) took a huge risk for Sofia Dantes’ (Isabella Sierra) sake. Plus, we lost another character, but we’re hoping his actions won’t make a mess for Genoveva Alcalá (Kika Edgar). Here’s what you need to know.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Another loss

First, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal we said goodbye to Anton (Dimitry Anisimov) last time. Everyone did their best to save him after the injuries he suffered in that cave-in, but it wasn’t enough. Not surprising, considering they’re still trapped. Before he passed, though, there was a nice moment with Oleg where we saw more of their brotherly bond. Oleg even sang him a Russian song Anton badly wanted to hear since he knew he wasn’t making it out alive. Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo) wanted to give Oleg a minute to process the loss, but our favorite grumpy Russian is now more focused of getting out so the guilty can pay. Good luck, Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita)…

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Big risk

Elsewhere, the other half of #TeamTeresa was scattered. However, some of them reunited when Sofia, Mateo, Sheila (Cuca Escribano), and Fedor Yosikov (Víctor Rebull) crossed paths again. Thanks to Fedor, they managed to find their way to the road, where a vehicle was flagged down. The driver was hesitant, but after Sofia took a slight turn for the worse, Mateo took a huge risk. He explained they were on the run and needed help to defend themselves. This eventually got them a ride, although we’ll see if the driver keeps silent.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: Sacrifice

Also, General Carlos Garrido (Noé Hernández Álvarez) knew he was taking a major risk in helping with the plot to take down Epifanio. Still, he’s persisted. Genoveva tried to do him a solid by warning him she’d just overheard Epifanio talking about sending people after him. Despite the little time between hearing that and the call, it was too late to escape. So, Garrido decided to kill himself rather than allow Epifanio’s people to get their hands on him. We assume he was doing this to protect Genoveva as much as the others involved in taking Epifanio down. The problem is, we hope he erased her call from his phone beforehand. It could theoretically be traced back to her.

Telemundo La Reina del Sur Spoilers: What’s next?

So, what’s next? La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal there’s not much time to grieve Anton. Everyone else still needs to escape for the sake of the others. And Oleg is especially motivated after losing his friend. However, it’s not going to be easy. Between a lack of oxygen and exhaustion from such hard work, everyone’s feeling the effects. In particular, Landero will hallucinate and cry for his father. This will eventually lead to them all passing out, so we’ll see how they ultimately escape.

As for the Garrido situation, apparently there will be a photo that makes Epifanio see red. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy, in our opinion. We’re still waiting for him to get his, and we think the sooner he does, the better.
