Daniele saw Yohan as she was walking through the lobby of the hotel that she was staying in when she was traveling in the Dominican Republic. Daniele knew that she needed to take a break from dating after she had a string of horrible relationships. She didn’t date for over five years and she wanted to change her focus on herself. She treated herself to a trip to the Dominican Republic and meeting Yohan was an explosive experience that fans will never forget.

In the second season of the show, Daniele fell in love with the “most beautiful man she had ever seen.” She told viewers, “When I met Yoha, I felt an instant connection with him. But it was immediately clear that our relationship would face a lot of challenges.” Daniele did have to leave Yohan for a few weeks, but she did eventually get back to the Dominican Republic to see him again. That is when he proposed to her!

Their love story had some issues, for sure. Daniele barely spoke any Spanish and Yohan didn’t speak English. She felt as if they had a “spiritual connection” and that is what was holding them together. They started to plan their future and she told viewers, “Before this week, we’ve always talked about me moving to the Dominican Republic. But as we get closer, and closer to the wedding, it seems like he’s more and more adamant about him moving to New York, which makes me really suspicious.”
Yohan was very open about how he wanted to move to the states so that he could work and send money to his family. They did end up getting married in November 2021 and celebrated their wedding anniversary last month. Daniele told her fans, “One year of marriage, a lifetime’s worth of learning. Blessed to be able to do this together.” In her post, she shared a picture of the two of them together.
Daniele and Yohan’s fans were very happy to see that they are still together and going strong. It looks like they are living in New York and building a life together there.
