King Charles III was welcomed with open arms at the JW3 Jewish community centre in Finchley Road, London.
King Charles III Pictured Dancing At Jewish Community Centre In Response To Harry And Meghan’s Docuseries
His visit arrived on the back end of the upcoming Chanukah celebrations, otherwise known as Hanukkah, that are set to take place on Sunday, 18th December 2022. The Jewish holiday of Chanukah is an eight-day festivity held in winter, often referred to as the “Festival of Lights,” which is marked by traditional prayers, and food.
And yet, in the background to all of this was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix docuseries. During the course of that series, the Sussexes made it clear in no uncertain terms that they had been left hurt by the treatment they had gotten in the Royal Family.
So much so that Harry went so far as to state that he had accepted that he, nor his wife, would never get a genuine apology. Nevertheless, Charles appeared in a buoyant mood without a care in the world.
Despite being wounded, he kept a smile on his face in the clip here, as he joined members of the Jewish community in the Hora dance, grasping the hands of two elderly individuals and spinning around together to exclamations and hollers of joy.
Furthermore, the King was filled with delight when a group of people assembled outside to chant his name; he waved energetically and beamed at the folk who had come to show their support. The response on social media was damning.
A significant proportion of people bashed Charles for coming across as though he did not care about any of the concerns that the Sussexes had raised in their docuseries. One person wrote: “He’s shameless, amoral otherwise he would’ve been embarrassed by what was exposed.
“Honestly the whole “royal family” is a disgrace, no wonder why Britain has become a laughing stock.” It is fair to say that this was not Charles’ finest look. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
