The duo decide to move on after having dated each other for two years. But things reached a point where their respective schedules no longer made it possible to have a stable relationship. Harry, for his part, is currently on a massive tour.
Meanwhile, Olivia is busy with her filming ventures as she is on course to go to London for a new documentary. And given the long distance that was involved in the relationship, it no longer made things feasible.
A source confirmed the following: “They’re on a break. It’s impossible to have a relationship when he’s in every continent next year and Olivia has her job and her kids.” Taking a break is one thing, but moving on is an entirely different matter.
And that is precisely what could happen moving forward. There is no guarantee that Harry, in particular, will not move on since he will not have a shortage of suitors. In addition, he is reaching an age where there will be calls for him to settle down at one point.
At the age of 28, he is entering into the next phase of his life with bigger expectations when it comes to starting a family. It is not clear if Styles will go down this route, but Olivia has already had children, something Harry has not experienced.
With that being said, a break will give both of them an opportunity to evaluate things moving forward. The following comments confirmed as much: “This is the right thing for both of them.”
The fans on social media were not convinced by the reasons for the split. A certain subset questioned whether they were compatible with each other in the first place. One person wrote: “Yeah rite. BS..he left her arse…too much drama.”
