She had a nervous breakdown during a press conference and Danilo Márquez (Emmanuel Orenday) had to finish it. Now, Epifanio Vargas (Humberto Zurita) is furious and got upset with Danilo for telling him the people wanted and needed to see the First Lady. This might have been a bad move on Epifanio’s part.
Something about the way he looked made us wonder how long it’ll be before Danilo sees his boss for who he is. Which, when he does, we’re expecting him to eventually take Genoveva’s side and help her get out of this situation. Of course, who knows if that will be necessary?
Epifanio has no idea how close a spy is to him, and that Antonio Alcalá (Eduardo Yáñez) is also working with the DEA to stop him. We’re rooting more every day for Epifanio’s downfall, and it’s getting closer all the time. His only chance is Teresa, and we’re pretty sure she’ll double cross him if she learns what he’s been doing to Genoveva.

As for tonight, La Reina del Sur spoilers reveal Teresa and Pablo are ready to rescue Marina, one of the missing women they’ve been tracking. To that end, a distraction’s created, but it won’t be enough. It seems armed men will be guarding the area and come across the would-be rescuers.
So, once again, Teresa will have a tight spot to get out of. If this show has proven anything, though, she’s good at getting out of tight spots. We’ll also see the hunt for Faustino continue, as a reward is offered.
