Nick Cannon has opened up on his huge child support bill amid the news that he is expecting his 12th child following Alyssa Scott’s pregnancy.

Nick, for his part, has numerous children with four different baby mamas. And as part of that process, Cannon has to ensure that he gives his time equally to all of the children. This does include financial obligations that he does have to meet, with claims he has “nearly paid $3 million a year in child support.”
While that may have been the case, Nick wanted to let everyone know that he had contributed more to that figure. In his comments, he said: “I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually. I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child.”
Nevertheless, that is easier said than done. In order to keep everyone happy, Nick has to do more than just throw money at the situation. It does require a lot of sacrifice in spending time with all of them, especially since he has to balance his demanding work schedule. And yet, that has not slowed down his plans to keep having children.
Following the death of his son, Zen, last year from a brain tumour, Nick revealed he did have question marks over whether or not he wanted to have more children. But since he has done so since then, the financial costs are the least of his worries.
The fans on social media had a mixed response. A certain subset felt that Nick had every right to adopt this approach if he had the means to do so. Meanwhile, others began to troll Cannon. And by the looks of it, the comments were very harsh indeed.
One person wrote: “If he can afford it, and obviously he can, nothing wrong with that,” while another person stated: “You’d think that by the 3rd, he’s spend a little of that money to buy condoms or maybe a vasectomy.”
