Aaron Carter was reportedly stopped by police after suspicion that he was driving under influence in the days before his death.
Aaron Carter Was Allegedly Stopped On Suspected DUI Days Before His Death
The 34-year-old was found dead in a bathtub after authorities responded to a call by the house sitter suggesting that someone had drowned. While that may have been the case, it appears that Aaron may have had other issues going on in the background.
According to TMZ, Carter was stopped by police on Tuesday, 1st November 2022 with claims that he was driving carelessly. But after having had some alcohol tests on the scene, he was allowed to leave. And as the weather was very windy during that day, this may have accounted for his driving.
And yet, that incident appeared to have affected him as he would go on to post the following message on his social media soon after: “When you do the right thing, you don’t get in trouble. Do the right thing, that’s what you do.”
Aaron had shown that he was willing to put the effort in to get himself on the straight and narrow in order to deal with his substance abuse issues. He had been plagued by his addiction to Marijuana and Xanax.
And as part of that process, Carter even went so far as to go into rehab on a voluntary basis, so that he could win back custody over his 11-month-son Prince. The fans on social media were devastated by the passing, but felt that the writing was on the wall since Carter had failed to overcome his demons.
One person wrote: “Tragic but sounds like this was an inevitable outcome. RIP.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities investigate the matter and come to a reasonable conclusion based on evidence. And hopefully, that can provide Carter’s loved ones with some much-needed closure at a very difficult time.
