Musician Finneas, otherwise known as Finneas O’Connell, has given his fans a positive update on his health following his e-bike accident.
Billie Eilish’s Brother Finneas O’Connell Gives Fans An Update On His Health Following E-Bike Accident
According to reports, the star experienced fractures both within his elbow and collarbone while he was riding the bike. In the picture here, we can see the x-ray image showing the clear damage that has been done to the bones.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Last Friday, I had the pleasure of crashing my electric bike, flying over the handlebars and absolutely demolishing my collarbone as well as sustaining a radial head fracture to my right elbow.
“The severity of the displacement of my collarbone meant I required surgery.” Now that the surgery has been done, Finneas is doing a whole lot better. He managed to have the support of his girlfriend, Claudia Sulewski, whom he gave a special thanks to for taking the time out to take care of him.
Not only that, but his sister Billie Eilish will have had her thoughts with her brother too. That is why Finneas reassured everyone that he is working his way back to full health in the hope that he can accompany Billie for her performance in December at The Forum, New York City, in what should be a massive event in the run up to Christmas.
He added: “I feel so lucky to still be here. Take care of yourselves, thank your bodies for all that they do for you. See you all again soon.” Despite that being the case, Finneas did not help himself too much. It turns out that he had not been wearing a helmet, which was something similar that happened to music mogul Simon Cowell.
In February of this year, Cowell fell off his motorbike as it later transpired that he was also not wearing a helmet. And perhaps this can serve as a lesson to everyone that it is important to keep your wits about you.
